What is Matching Funds?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. Last year, DESEF received more than $35,000 through the Matching Funds program.
How can you help?
You can 1) contact your human resources department to find out if your company has a Matching Funds program, or 2) check the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF) searchable database of companies that match charitable contributions at HERE AT THIS LINK. Keep in mind that some employers may still match donations even if they are not listed in this database.
