School Site Council
What is the Walt Disney School Site Council?
The overall responsibility of SSC is to serve as the school community representative body for determining the focus of the school’s academic instructional program and all related categorical resources.
The purpose of SSC is to ensure that the school is continually engaged in identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices that result in both strengthening the core academic program and ensuring that students have access to and success in that program.
How is SSC formed?
The council is composed of the principal and representatives of: teachers elected by teachers at the school; other school personnel elected by other school personnel at the school; and parents of students attending the school elected by such parents.
The minimum number of SSC members is 10.
